Scrabulary Word of the Day #861 10/27/19 "CAUTCHED"

CAUTCHED = CAUGHT + CATCHED

As I tossed the baseball to my little grandson, he caught it in his little baseball mitt, his eyes opened wide and he said:

"I cautched it!!"

It was so fun to see his eyes light up!

Scrabulary Word of the Day #860 10/20/19 "SARFELY"

SARFELY = SAFELY + CAREFULLY

My daughter and son-in-law were moving and preparing to drive separate cars packed with the last of their belongings over the mountains and I said:

"I love you.  Drive sarfely."

They made it safe and sound.

Scrabulary Word of the Day #859 10/19/19 "GRANDY"

GRANDY = GREAT + DANDY

Walking down the hallway of my workplace, I passed a fellow employee who greeted me saying: "How are you this morning?"  I smiled and replied:

"Just grandy, thank you."

I am just grandy today, too!

Scrabulary Word of the Day #858 10/18/19 "TROBLEMS"

TROBLEMS = TROUBLE + PROBLEMS

My daughter was trying to help my grandson with his school work.  I had asked how he was doing and she said:

"He's having troblems with his focus--his mind is just racing with thoughts."

Guess he had other ideas about what he wanted to do for the day.

Scrabulary Word of the Day #857 10/17/19 "CAUGHTING"

CAUGHTING = CAUGHT + CATCHING

My daughter sent along this Scrabulary word.  My son-in-law had bought some bluetooth speakers so they could enjoy music all around the house and he said: "It's like we're in the future!" Sarah replied:

"It's like we're finally caughting up to the present."

Love listening to music and relaxing.

Scrabulary Word of the Day #856 10/06/19 "GLUP"

GLUP = GLASS + CUP

My now seven-year-old grandson continues to follow in the Scrabulary gifting with today's word.  He said:

"Did you know that at lunch I drank a whole glup of water?"

He might have preferred a whole glup of chocolate milk. ;)
