SMOOT FRUITIE = FRUIT + SMOOTHIE

"...including a smoot fruitie!"

Who cares what else he ate, the best was last!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03/03/18 "WOODNESS"

WOODNESS = WORD + GOODNESS

My daughter was watching Good Mythical Morning and heard Link utter a Scrabulary word!  She passed it on for today's Word of the Day.

The hosts of Good Mythical Morning, Rhett and Link, were playing Dumbest Celebrity Tweets.  Rhett reads Tweets by Celebrities and Link is shown two numbers.  He has to guess which number represents the correct number of times the Tweet was re-Tweeted.  He correctly guessed 3 out of 5 and was awarded his choice of one dollar or whatever is inside the "Mystery Box".  He chose the Mystery Box and when he opened it up, he pulled out a blue chicken wing.  He said:

"A blue chicken wing?  What is this, a blue chicken wing?"  Rhett answered: "It's a blue chicken wing. It was the Twitter bird." Then Link said:  "Oh my woodness."  He chuckled and said: "I just said woodness."

Yes Link and thank you for a great Scrabulary Word!!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 02/16/18 "YURTRU"

YURTRU = YOU'RE RIGHT + THAT'S TRUE

On this day to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dog, today's Scrabulary word came about when Beetie and I were having a dinner of Chinese food with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson.  We each had opened our fortune cookies and read the fortunes.  We also turned over the little piece of paper which gives numbers that might bring someone luck in a state lottery, for example.  They call this the second fortune.  My son-in-law said:

"It provides one fortune and then gives you a second opportunity at good fortune."  I replied:  "Yurtru!"

May this Chinese New Year of the Dog bring you good fortune,
