Scrabulary Word of the Day - 05-29-17 "STOKEDED"

STOKEDED = STOKED + ELATED

When asked if I was happy about going to see the Air Force Thunderbirds fly over Thunderbird Park at the Air Force Academy (which is an experience like no other), I replied:

"I am stokeded"

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 05-28-17 "PERPY"

PERPY = PERFECT + POPPY

Beetie and I sometimes affectionately call each other by the names that our precious grandson calls us, i.e. Meemaw and Poppy.  With that in mind, Beetie had prepared breakfast consisting of a bowl of coconut yogurt with fresh fruit, a sprinkling of granola and a glass of lemon water to start.  Looking at this yummy breakfast and anticipating the first bite, I said:

"Yum!  Thank you!  This is perpy!"

Practically perfect in every way,

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 05-21-17 "GRIZZLING"

GRIZZLING = GRAUPEL + DRIZZLING

During a "Maycember" weather day, my husband and I looked out the window before venturing outside and Beetie said:

"Looks like it's just grizzling."

In Colorado, just give it 10 minutes and the weather will change one way or the other.
