Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-24-17 "FLAVING"

FLAVING = FLAVOR + FLAVORING

When purchasing Duncan Donut's Carmel Latte Square donut, I noticed a chocolate decoration on top.  After taking a bite I said:

"The little chocolate thing on top had coffee flaving."

Delectably Delicious!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-19-17 "SAVORITE"

SAVORITE = SPECIAL + FAVORITE

My 4 1/2 year-old grandson has the "Scrabulary" gene!  He uttered a Scrabulary word, recognized it when he said it and made himself laugh!  He was looking at his mom's collection of crystals, pointed to a row and said:

"What about those, Mama?  Are those your savorite ones? Haha! I said 'savorite'! Haha!"

My Moonpie always brings me joy!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-17-17 "YUNKY"

YUNKY =  YUCKY + JUNKY

It is cold and flu season--will it ever end??  I was talking with a friend and told her about a delicious tea that really helped my irritated, drainage-congested throat.  I said:

"The brand Traditional Medicinals has a tea called Throat Coat.  It really helps soothe and clear a yunky throat."

Tea helps all kinds of ailments!

FLABBERPATED =  FLABBERGASTED + TWITTERPATED

Our effervescent receptionist was asked how she felt after engaging a customer and her reply was:

"I'm flabberpated!"

Now, is that good or bad?
