In the past year, I have enjoyed including a variety of nuts in my diet for their exceptional food value. One of those nuts is the Brazil nut. The Brazil nut holds exceptionally high levels of selenium. Adequate selenium in the diet helps prevent coronary artery disease, liver cirrhosis, and cancer. Just 1-2 nuts a day provides enough of this trace element. It is also
free of gluten protein.
Beetie had brought this to my attention and I said:
"I did not know that about the Branil zut."
Yummy, too!!
