Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03/27/16 "INBEFRONT"

INBEFRONT = IN BETWEEN + IN FRONT

We were sitting around the kitchen table at Swuvie's house playing a game of Phase 10.  Swunnie decided he wanted to sit on MeeMaw's lap to see what the grown-ups were doing.  I couldn't quite reach the next card and said:

"I can't reach the card.  I have a little body inbefront of me."

Time with my precious MoonPie - Priceless.

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-25-16 "SLEPPIN"

SLEPPIN = SLEPT + SLEEPING

After spending a lot of time awake during the night, I said to Beetie:

"It seems like I didn't sleep at all last night but I was startled awake by the alarm so I guess I (was) sleppin."

Need a nap,

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-20-16 "ATCHUS"

ATCHUS = ATCHA + US

Beetie and I were watching a travelogue video through Croatia.  We were wondering if there were recreational vehicles we could rent to tour that and other countries.  While putting the question out there, a few vehicles were captured in the video coming toward the camera and I said:

"Look, there are two coming atchus."

Travel dreams,

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-19-16 "JORK"

JORK = JOKE + JERK

I was watching the news and a commercial came on advertising the legal services of an ambulance-chasing lawyer.  After muting the commercial, I said:

"That guy is such a jork."

Advertisements,

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-13-16 "BRANIL ZUT"

BRANIL ZUT = BRAZIL NUT

In the past year, I have enjoyed including a variety of nuts in my diet for their exceptional food value.  One of those nuts is the Brazil nut.  The Brazil nut holds exceptionally high levels of seleniumAdequate selenium in the diet helps prevent coronary artery disease, liver cirrhosis, and cancer.  Just 1-2 nuts a day provides enough of this trace element.  It is also
free of gluten protein.

Beetie had brought this to my attention and I said:

"I did not know that about the Branil zut."

Yummy, too!!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-06-16 "BEEN IT"

BEEN IT = BEEN THERE + DONE IT

Sitting in traffic on the way home from Denver, Beetie and I were reminiscing about the hours we used to spend in traffic to and from work years ago and I said:

"Yup, been it."

How many hours? = How many years?
I shudder to think,

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 03-04-16 "MORST"

MORST = MORE + MOST

My friend Georgie, getting in the Scrabulary groove, contributed today's word.  She and her Huckleberry were going back and forth with the "love you more" game.  She meant to say "I love you more than most", but it came out:

"I love you morst!"

I think the key word here is "love".
