Scrabulary Word of the Day - 02/15/16 "STONKS"

STONKS = STOCKINGS + SOCKS

At Christmas, our department exchanged decorative socks filled with goodies.  As I was looking over the selection of socks at the department store deciding which ones I wanted to purchase, I said:

"Some of these Christmas stonks have glitter on them."

Fun exchange, fun time!

  1. My family has words which we still use, that were made up or mispronunciations of real words. Some I'm sure have been seen and said by others:

    Herrow: Instead of HELLO
    Bisketti: Instead of SPAGHETTI
    Also: scubetti,

    1. Classics! I will always use hey-go-dop-ter instead of helicopter, thanks to Swunnie. Thanks for sharing your family's words, Michael-david's Practice Blog.
