A sidebar in a magazine I was reading mentioned some of the dozens of words recently added to the venerable Old English Dictionary. One of the words was "Masshole" meaning a term of contempt for a native or inhabitant of the state of Massachusetts. "The New Hampshire people have a nickname for the refugees from Massachusetts: Massholes."(M. Ridley, Warts & All, 1989)
When I shared this with Beetie, he said:
"That's just a sad commentary on the east coast asitude."
Couldn't agree more, Beetie,
~Scrabulary Chris :/
