Scrabulary Word of the Day - 10-26-14 "SUSPICUOUS"

SUSPICUOUS = SUSPICIOUS + CONSPICUOUS

On the crime drama Hinterland on Netflix, a body was discovered in a pond in a quarry.  It was determined a large tractor tire held him under water to keep his murder from being discovered.  The detective went to a location where there were several kinds of used tires including large tractor tires.  I said:

"Hmm, that looks suspicuous."

A crime drama from Wales--cool!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 10-5-14 "BRAINEURYSM"

BRAINEURYSM = BRAIN + ANEURYSM

My son-in-law loves running.  The other day he was sprinting as fast as he could.  After he stopped he could feel the blood pulsing in this head and said:

"I could give myself a braineurysm."

Let's not, okay?
