Scrabulary Word of the Day - 10/26 "WARM OUT"

WARM OUT = GO OUT + WARM UP

Combining two phrases "Scrabularily"!

Beetie was getting ready to take me to work when he said:

"I'm gonna warm out the car."

I like being chauffeured to work!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 10-13 "CUDO"

CUDO = CUT + DO

Last week's Bronco game was a high-scoring nail-biter. At one point, I said:

"I don't know if the Broncos can cudo it."

But with Peyton Manning at the helm, they did cudo it!!!

Go Broncos!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 10-12 "DISABILITATE"

DISABILITATE = DISABLE + DEBILITATE

Beetie has been battling a virus for the last couple of weeks.  I asked him if he thought he was getting any better and he said:

"Not really.  It's not a bad virus, though.  It doesn't disabilitate you."

Hope you feel better soon, Beetie!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 10-5 "PARCES"

PARCES = PARTS + PIECES

An impulse buy at my local home improvement store was a kit that allowed me to add pieces to a pumpkin to make it look like a Mr. Potato Head.  I brought the kit and a pumpkin  home and said:

"Okay, Mr. Pumpkin Head, let's see how your parces fit."

Arrrrrrrr Mr. Pirate Pumpkin Head!!!

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 10-4 'WOTTLES"

WOTTLES = WATER + BOTTLES

My husband came by my workplace with a daily essential to my workday--bottled water.  My co-worker said:  "I saw your husband come in with something in this hands."  I said:

"Yes, he brought me wottles."

Thank you, Beetie, for taking such good care of me.
