Scrabulary Word of the Day - 2-15 "SHTOP"

SHTOP = SHOP + STORE

Beetie and I were window shopping at the local mall.  The new Spring colors and styles were being displayed.  We noticed that the colors and styles seemed reminiscent of the 70's and Beetie said:

"We could be in style just by buying at the local Salvation Army thrift shtop."

Or rummaging through my closet?

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 2-2 "VALUABLES"

VALUABLES = VALUES + VARIABLES

Dubby's employer takes spreadsheet terminology and changes the meaning of yet another familiar word the Scrabulary way.

In a presentation during a staff meeting, Dubby's employer said:

"I will have to change the valuables on the spreadsheet."

And changed they were,

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 2-1 "LEAK"

LEAK = LEAN + WEAK

The word "leak" doesn't mean what you think anymore in Scrabulary definitions.

My son-in-law, Dubby, gave me a Scrabulary word that his employer said which I will share with you tomorrow.  When he told me the word I said:

"Thanks! My list of Scrabulary words for future posts is getting kinda leak."

Thanks again, Dubby!
