Scrabulary Word of the Day -1-4 "DEBARK"

DEBARK  =  DEPART + EMBARK

My son and his girlfriend  had taken a trip to visit her parents over the Christmas holiday.  It takes about a day of driving to get there. When they were getting ready to leave for the return trip home, my son said:

"Let's make sure we've got gas and goodies before we debark on this little journey."

And, thankfully, they got home safely.
