I've done it now--I spoke a Scrabulary word while trying to explain another Scrabulary word  that I had spoken moments before. 

I was telling Swuvie about a Christmas song I enjoyed mostly because I liked the tune.  I said:

"I find myself humming that Christmas sune alot."  I realized I had spoken a new Scrabulary word and said: "Ha! That was tong! [LOL] Oh brother, I mean sune which is song + tune.  Instead, I said tong which is tune + song."

About one year ago, I used/posted a form of today's Scrabulary word.  (I do a search before posting each word to make sure I don't repeat myself; however, today's word is slightly different and I thought it was unusual that I had said it/posted it in December 2011.)  It was even used in the same context.  See, Scrabulary words really do become a part of my everyday vocabulary.

Now, being in the "over 50" age group, Beetie and I sometimes check out communities in which to live that target our age group.  Now, being in the "over 50" group, I experience hormonal changes (hot flashes, etc) that enter my train of thought while having them.  So, when Beetie and I were driving through a community that caught our interest, I was wondering if there might be any homeowner fees when a "hot flash" hit and I said:

SCALENDAR = SCHEDULE + CALENDAR


I haven't posted a word for several days because I am so proud to announce that my beautiful daughter Swuvie and handsome son-in-law Donut are celebrating the arrival of my gorgeous first grandchild, my grandson Acelin. Words (not even Scrabulary words) do not exist that express the immense, heartfelt, all consuming joy that fills me. My utmost thanks to my children for such a beautiful gift.  


Today's word is courtesy of my boss, Valerie.  She was on the phone with one of my co-workers making schedule changes and said:

"Well you check your scalendar for the dates you need off and call me back."  

Looks like I need to check my scalendar for vacation time with my new grandson!!

Beetie was reading a health tip off the internet which stated that drinking tart cherry juice 2x per day for 3 weeks resulted in considerable reduction in vital inflammation markers for those with arthritis and osteoporosis.  I replied:  


"We should tell our friend about this.  His arthritis is over the chart."

My son, who lives in Florida, sent this Scrabulary creation.  In true Scrabulary form it is a scramble of  letters to create a new word/phrase, albeit the meaning remains the same.  He was sharing with a friend the distance between his home and the dance studio where he teaches and said:


"From my house to the studio? Just a hip and a skop away."

Swuvie had run across a theory that the hairline at the back of the neck of a person could determine the sex of the next sibling to be born.  I looked at her hairline and it was straight across indicating that the next sibling should have been of the same sex (whereas, if her hairline had come to a point, the next sibling should have been of the opposite sex).  Well, her brother was born 22 months after she was. So I said:


"Theory brusted!"

I had used these same combination of words in a different order that formed the Scrabulary word "chot" in a past blog.  Swuvie blurted out the above Scrabulary word when answering me about whether or not I should add mustard to the macaroni salad dressing.  She said:
